Pablo Velarde Diaz-Pache

Pablo Velarde Diaz-Pache studied in the Sevilla Superior School of Architecture. During his studies, to support himself, he worked on many building projects and taught math and science to high school students. In 1991 he moved to New Zealand where he started a new career as an illustrator and comic artist. He has worked for numerous advertising agencies, magazines, newspapers and text book publishing houses around the world. He has illustrated many math and language books and written and drawn thousands of comic pages both for general readership and for educational purposes.

He loves science and loves to explain it. Pablo believes there are no subjects in science that cannot be explained in a simple and accessible way to everyone interested in learning.
